Marlene DeFrisco Harrison (nee Pagliaro) found eternal peace on Thursday, January 10, 2013, age 81 years. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 41 years, Joseph DeFrisco, and her loving husband of nearly 14 years, Atapwg "Harry" Harrison. Devoted mother of Joseph (& Lesleah) DeFrisco, Jeanne (& Robert) Strauss, and Patricia (& Ronald) Schmeling. Proud grandmother of Ryan DeFrisco, John (& Marya) DeFrisco, Angela Strauss, and Erica Strauss. Dear Sister of Sandra Jean (& the late Frederick) Gillam. Further survived and beloved by stepdaughters, step-grandchildren and great grandchildren from the Harrison and Schmeling families, and many more friends and family in California, New York, and throughout the country and abroad. Throughout her lifetime, Marlene devoted herself to caring for her family. A second-generation Italian-American born in Brooklyn, New York, Marlene was supremely proud of her heritage. She loved cooking, art, travel, friends, and family. Prior to her children leaving home, she rarely cooked a family meal that wouldn't allow for an additional dozen guests. She was kind and welcoming to all and her motto was "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all"—and she always had plenty of nice things to say. During her life, she visited all 50 states, she was a champion on a TV game show, and she loved to tell stories of her brushes with classic movie stars. Mom, Grandma, & Sis, We Love You and Will Miss You So Much.
