On Tuesday, November 17, 2020, Donna Mae Lisi, age 86, passed away peacefully at her home in La Quinta Ca. after home hospice care from The Bridge hospice and having family present. Donna was born and raised in Joliet Illinois, later lived and worked in Miami and Boston before settling in San Francisco, where she worked at the corporate headquarters of Union Bank for twenty years. Donna also helped care for her father Dominic Porfilio, who had retired in Napa Valley. After retirement from the bank, Donna moved to Palm Springs and was employed by the Palm Springs Intl. Airport for several years. Upon final retirement, Donna moved to the Mira Flores community in La Quinta. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Dominic and Rose Porfilio, brother Lance Porfilio, sisters Leonora DAlessio, Angela Reed, Norma Getson, Gloria Briney, Viola Stimac and Joyce Embling. Survived by sister in law Nancy Porfilio, and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Donna Mae Lisi will be held graveside, by St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, at Desert Memorial Park in Palm Springs, on Friday, December 4, at 1030 am. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Donna's name to Alzheimer's research or St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in La Quinta would be appreciated.
