Tribute & Message From The Family

This is written In loving memory of Aubery Leon Nicholas who left us on Saturday, January 11, 2014. Aubery is now in the receiving arms of his family in Heaven. He is survived by his wife Cindy and three children- Debbie Langseth, Kathy Nicholas Bernish, and David Nicholas. He is also survived by his sister Faye Kiker, six grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews whom he adored and enjoyed across the country. Aubery was a navy veteran who loved to fish and hunt, as well as he enjoyed his life at the sea where he resided in California. He loved to cook and try new recipes, but above all else Aubery loved his family. He will be truly missed by all.

May the Lord take you by the hand and welcome you into Heaven. There is a family reunion going on with all your family for sure. We will all see you there some day. You will always be remembered for being a great cook, and a strong man. I am grateful for all the vacations we went on as kids and the water sports you taught us. You taught us to be adventurous and and enjoy life. You will be missed, but never forgotten. All my love to you.

Uncle Aubery - I remember the good times at your house in Norwalk with both you and my Aunt Grace. The times I always viewed as mundane when I was a 6-11 years old - having to head over to your house as my mom was at work - I now look back at with a fondness knowing that those where great memories of what I look back at now as a great childhood in the 70's in California.

The family gatherings with everyone - all times made special because you where also part of that - You will be missed but always remembered.

I remember him always cooking the best food, he could get down with some good eatin...That has passed on to me and I will remember him every time I spark up that grill. I remember going on trips to the Salton sea as a child with him and Cindy (my step grandma), I always had a great time fishing and sightseeing.I am going to miss you grandpa, and although I have no one to mourn with me of your passing, I feel comfort that I will see you again and I hope you see what I've become, Love you always..
