Tribute & Message From The Family

The Lord gives, the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
Linda Lee Curtis, (Lee Maxwell) our precious Daughter, went to be with her Lord early Tuesday Morning January 15, 2013. Her
Family was at her side to till the end praying and holding her hand. We thank our Lord for allowing us to be with Lee until the end.
Lee's life began July 6, 1947 in Athens Ohio. In 1952 Lee migrated to California where she grew up. Graduated from
Inglewood High School, and earned an AA degree from El Camino JR College. Attended Pierce College in San
Fernando Valley. Lee was an athlete of considerable talent. From a young age the boys always picked her for their team!
Later her athletic prowess was evident in the many soft ball leagues she excelled in. Few could equal her running,
Throwing, and batting skills testified to by the many trophies earned.
Lee was always thankful for the years of pleasure Sports provided.
We can be very sure of this. Lee's overriding Joy was Jesus, her Savior! Her faithful witness to His saving grace was ever evident
From her conversion at age 18; Lee brought up her two sons in the, "nurture and admonition of the Lord." She was an avid
Bible reader, active in Church ministries, and especially children's work. A prayer warrior, an altogether lovely Christian lady whom
We are very proud of. The Earth is poorer place in her absence, but Heaven so much richer.
Lee will be greatly missed.

I am not sure that John and Timmy will get this message, but I just wanted to let you know that I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. My husband and I worked at the 7-11 and your mom and dad took pictures at our wedding reception in 1982, when we lived where the new school is now in DHS. We now live in AR., but think of your folks all of the time. Your dad was amazing with the camera. Best wishes, Tim and Donna Andreason.

Candle

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

2He makes me lie down in green pastures,

he leads me beside quiet waters,

3he restores my soul.

He guides me in paths of righteousness

for his name's sake.

4Even though I walk

through the valley of the shadow of death,a

I will fear no evil,

for you are with me;

your rod and your staff,

they comfort me.

5You prepare a table before me

in the presence of my enemies.

You anoint my head with oil;

my cup overflows.

6Surely goodness and love will follow me

all the days of my life,

and I will dwell in the house of the Lord

forever.
