Her passion was her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She dedicated her time and enerty to her family, neighbors and community. She enjoyed and traveled extensively with her husband and children visiting Japan, Okinawa, Taiwan, The Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and China in the Western Pacific. In the East she traveled to Greece, Italy, Turkey and the Greek Islands. In the USA, National Parks were her favorite places to visit.

After her husband's retirement from the Navy, the family resettled in Moorpark, CA where her husband worked in the satellite operations business. While there she served as the President of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary. Her and her husband bought a second home in Heritage Palms Indio.
