It is so hard to grasp that Tom's dynamic presence is no longer physically with us. What gives us comfort is his rich legacy as a devoted family man, talented architect, wit, charm, and a shining vibrancy for life. That bright light will occupy a special place in our hearts forever.

View of Florence from Hotel Rooftop

Knowing Tom since I was 14 years old leaves a lifetime of memories. As stated, he loved to travel and I was fortunate enough to travel with Tom and Nancy many times. One of my most recent trips to Italy started in Florence. Having arrived from the airport to the hotel, meeting up with them in the lobby I was immediately directed by Tom that I HAD to come to the rooftop bar and have a drink. Went to the

I was saddened by the news of Tom's passing.

It is rare to find an individual of his stature and with so much passion for the world of architecture. I was fortunate to work with Tom for 10 years while at SOSH. Tom had a special sense to interpret the client's goals in a way themselves did not realize until he explained. His passion for his work was always present and he always delivered as promised. He was a very

My condolences to you all. Tom was spark of brilliance and always a delight to work with. I have missed his AC / PA presence since his leaving, but he will always remain in my memory memories as one of the good guys.

I worked at SOSH in the early days.
OC was a cool guy to work with.
I would always tell him. "I still don't know what you do here".

I HAVE WORKED WITH TOM ON MANY PROJECTS SINCE 1983. I ALWAYS CONSIDERED HIM A WONDERFUL AND HONORABLE GUY TO WORK WITH AND A GOOD FRIEND TO HANG WITH ON OCCASION. I WILL MISS HIM.

I had the honor of working with Tom on several projects and I always enjoyed his skill and wit. He took his profession very seriously but was always able to smile under the sometimes immense pressure of deadlines and client expectations.

I will miss catching up with Tom over a glass of white wine.

Best wishes to Tom's family and colleagues.

Kind regards,
Keith Irtenkauf
